Deutoronomy 6:6-7
(6) These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. (7) Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

God wants us to teach our children about Him all day long - include Him in every aspect of our lives. But how can we do this when we work full time and our children are without us almost 35 hours out of the week? Moreover, we are called to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), with our children being our most important disciples. Webster's dictionary defines a disciple as "a pupil or follower of any teacher or school." With our busy schedules, the public schools become said "teacher or school", and our children disciples therein. It is made clear in the bible that this is not God's plan for our children. This is where our children's ministry program comes in. We infuse our faith into every aspect of our day, from the time we begin our day with Bible Study, and throughout each of our subjects, your child is learning about the "praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His Power and the wonders He has done...[so that] they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep his commandments (Psalm 78:4,7). Our program  approaches learning from a biblical view, making God's word central to learning. Through learning, we will build on your child's foundation of faith, helping to grow it from grasshopper to giant slayer.

Character Development

In Proverbs 22:6, we are instructed to train our children up in the way they should go, so that when they're old they will not depart from it. The Hebrew word for "train" can be translated as: to train, train up, to dedicate. In other words, we are to dedicate our children to the Lord and the purposes He has laid out for them by developing their morals and character as they walk through life. Furthermore, the sub root of the Hebrew word for "train" is Grace, indicating that we are to train our children up using grace and compassion.

To this end, we chose the Fruits of the Spirit as the foundation of our behavior management system. Instead of focusing on what kids do wrong, we want to focus on what they are doing right, from a biblical standpoint. We encourage the children to do everything and respond to problems with the nine fruits of the spirit, while we, the adults, emulate the same.

But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,

and self-control.  (Galatians 5:22-23)

Bible Integration

Bible study is thoroughly integrated into our subjects through God-centric curriculum with a biblical worldview. Your children will also specifically learn and study the bible from Genesis to Revelation, beginning with simple Bible verse memorization in the youngest years, then moving to larger passages. We use My Father's World curriculum, along with Apologia and Master Books.

Education Goals

Our main objective is the recognize the Bible as the foundation of all truth. In this way, your children are brought up to know and to serve God. Through this foundation, we want to encourage core values, teach important life skills, model healthy relationships, and nurture children to think critically, pursue truth, and to love learning.
